  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent which builds a solid foundation
  • Experience supporting parents and families with care
  • Understanding of child development
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with trust
  • Comfort working with partners in a mixed skill team

Salary Details

This post is set at Band 4 within the NHS Agenda for Change pay scheme.

About the Role

This role sits within their Cumberland 0 to 19 service which focuses on giving every child a fair start. You’ll support public health nurses as they deliver the Healthy Child Programme across the area. The work mixes home visits, clinics and community contact which keeps each week varied. You’ll help spot early concerns so families get support before issues grow. Your input helps reduce health inequalities and strengthens local wellbeing. You’ll also build relationships with partner agencies which helps families navigate wider services. If you care about early years and want work that carries meaning, this role fits well.
