Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice
  • ST3+ level experience in General Medicine
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

About the Role
The Clinical Fellow will play a critical role in managing frail older patients within the Acute Frailty Assessment Unit and a 27 bedded DME ward. The role offers a flexible timetable tailored to the candidate’s professional development plan. Contribution to the General Internal Medicine Registrar rota is not mandatory but can be negotiated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical cover for the Acute Frailty Assessment Unit
  • Manage patients in the 27 bedded DME ward
  • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care
  • Participate in service evaluations and outpatient clinics (optional)
