Requirements
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Registered with GPhC (or due to register by start date)
- GCSE English grade C or higher or IELTS score of 6.5 in writing, 6.0 in other areas
- Strong understanding of NHS medicines management systems
- Experience in a healthcare setting, especially pharmacy-based
- Keen interest or experience in oncology, haematology or technical services
- Comfortable with on-call duties, weekend rota, and Emergency Duty Commitment
Salary Details
Starting between £37,898 – £45,637 per year depending on experience and training.

This isn’t a desk-bound post. It’s about stepping into a specialist clinical setting, rotating across critical areas like oncology and haematology, and being a key part of the technical services team. They’re looking for someone who doesn’t just want a job—they want a career they can shape. You’ll learn directly from expert oncology pharmacists, contribute to oncology clinics, and get real traction on clinical responsibilities. Whether it’s leading audits or supporting patients through complex treatments, your role will matter. You’ll be hands-on, patient-facing, and supported every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services across cancer care units
- Rotate through technical services and inpatient wards
- Provide pharmaceutical support at oncology/haematology clinics
- Mentor students, pre-reg pharmacists and junior staff
- Join the emergency duty rota (on-call, weekends, bank holidays)
- Contribute to audits and service improvement initiatives
