Main Duties of the Job
The Clinical Research Nurse will play an integral role in the Cambridge Cancer Trials Team, working closely with healthcare professionals associated with the multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities include identifying patients eligible for clinical trials, providing patient information and support, coordinating treatment, assessments, and follow-ups, and ensuring data collection adheres to clinical trial protocols. Liaison with departments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, pharmacy, radiology, and research ethics is a core aspect of the role.
