Job Details
KUBRA is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their DevSecOps team. This role focuses on enhancing and securing KUBRA’s cloud platforms and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in public cloud environments, threat modeling, and a solid foundation in security and risk management practices.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud technologies (AWS required, Azure/GCP optional)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS, and other security frameworks
- Experience with DevOps or software development environments is a plus

About the Role
As the Cloud Security Engineer, the main responsibility will be performing security assessments and developing tools for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of KUBRA’s cloud-based systems. The role involves working closely with internal teams to maintain security across all KUBRA platforms, designing secure infrastructure, and implementing automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide detailed reports for management
- Implement security services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams for secure cloud infrastructure development
- Support risk assessments with KUBRA’s Risk Team
- Build security tools focusing on automation
- Ensure compliance with security standards (PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS, etc.)
- Provide security guidance to software development teams
