As a Co-Production & Engagement Peer Support Worker, you’ll work closely with the CAMHS team, championing the voices of clients, breaking down stigma, and mentoring others toward recovery.
You’ll lead co-production initiatives, advocate for meaningful service changes, and help embed recovery-focused, jargon-free practices across the Trust. With every interaction, you’ll model resilience and connection, showing that healing is possible and support is always within reach.
This is one of those rare UK job opportunities where your story, your insight, and your passion become tools of change. Ready to step into a role that matters?
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and embed co-production practices within CAMHS
- Mentor clients using personal recovery experience
- Support and train staff on peer values and recovery-based approaches
- Champion medical-free, accessible communication
- Act as a bridge between clients and local community resources
- Input client progress into the Trust’s record system
- Evaluate service outcomes and lead improvement initiatives
- Promote the peer support profession and engage in workforce development
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975. A standard or enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, as you’ll be working directly with children and vulnerable individuals.
