Salary Details

The role is a Band 3 NHS Agenda for Change position with a salary of £24,625 to £25,674 per annum pro rata, alongside additional pay enhancements for evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

About the Role

This position places the successful candidate within the Prescott House Community Mental Health Team, part of a wider integrated service. They’ll work directly with service users facing severe and enduring mental health challenges. Day-to-day, this means providing recovery-focused support, helping individuals build independent living skills and guiding them towards personal goals. The role is central to the Assertive Outreach and Dual Diagnosis pathways, ensuring that each person gets tailored care that fosters independence and long-term wellbeing.

It’s not just about supporting service users, though. They’ll also work with carers, run carer clinics and take part in reflective practice groups. With training, supervision and a strong peer network, this role offers career growth and the chance to be part of a truly supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with service users on recovery-focused care plans that build independence and confidence
  • Provide practical assistance, advice and encouragement that makes everyday living more manageable
