Role: Customer Service Associate

  • Salary: £12.60 per hour, £26,208 per year

  • Location: Belfast City Centre (hybrid working after initial training)
  • Shifts: 40 hours per week, between 07:00 and 01:00
  • Start Date: 24th February 2025
  • Training: 3 weeks onsite training, followed by 4 weeks in a graduate bay onsite

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Interaction:
  • Provide proactive and reactive customer service to help customers meet their financial goals.
  • Offer advice on banking services and help customers select the best options for their needs.
  1. Customer Education:
  • Educate customers on different banking options available, ensuring they understand the services that suit their personal financial goals.
  • Guide customers through processes and procedures in an efficient and compliant manner.
  1. Account Management:
  • Conduct financial reviews, providing customers with accurate information to help them make informed decisions about financial products and services.
  • Regularly review customer needs and take action to resolve gaps, ensuring positive customer outcomes.
  1. Complaint Resolution:
  • Resolve customer complaints and errors swiftly, restoring customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction with every interaction.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with colleagues to support customers and stay aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure customer interactions are handled with care and lead to customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service environment, particularly managing customer relationships.
  • Organisational and Time Management: Ability to manage schedules effectively, balancing proactive and reactive customer interactions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology tools.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience working within a regulatory environment is preferred.
  • Customer-Focused Attitude: A passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
