Job Overview
The Cyber Security Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the design, implementation, and validation of engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project objectives, representing Pektron in meetings, conducting risk assessments, ensuring quality standards, and using project management tools to report and track progress. This role requires experience in automotive software development and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project design, implementation, and validation to meet customer requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
- Represent Pektron during project meetings and provide expert advice on project management.
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure project quality standards are met.
- Utilize project management tools for effective tracking and reporting of project progress.
- Oversee project costs, timing, and commercial status.
- Coordinate with other functions involved in the planning process, including specification and drawing issues from customers.
- Develop metrics and profiles for managerial reporting.

These include designing and manufacturing advanced body control systems, passive keys, active suspension systems for high-performance vehicles, and developing advanced instrument clusters, passive entry systems, and body and chassis control systems for major OEM clients in automotive, agricultural, and construction sectors.

Our Derby site features five modern, purpose-built buildings, including state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and an advanced Engineering Centre.
