Requirements
- Strong administration and data entry background with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Experience using hospital systems like Lorenzo, Web V, or patient databases
- Understanding of medical terminology and confidentiality principles
- Ability to analyse data and solve problems independently

Salary Details
This role falls under the Agenda for Change Band 3 pay scheme, with an annual salary of £24,937 to £26,598 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role
As a Data Audit Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery team by managing and maintaining accurate clinical data. Every record you update ensures better insight, compliance, and patient outcomes. You’ll help the Trust meet national audit standards through timely submissions to the NICOR database, supporting performance reporting and accreditation.
You’ll liaise with clinicians, nurses, and admin staff, ensuring data integrity and smooth information flow across departments. This role combines precision with purpose—it’s where your eye for detail directly influences the quality of care delivered to real people.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, input, and analyse data for the Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery database, ensuring records are complete and up to date
- Access patient administration systems to verify and update essential patient details
- Support NICOR accreditation by capturing accurate, timely data that meets national standards
- Produce reports to highlight outcomes and performance achievements for audit purposes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain communication and efficient workflows
- Uphold confidentiality and accuracy to protect patient information and service quality
- Work independently and proactively to identify gaps and maintain data consistency
