Requirements
- Experience in data engineering or back-end development using languages like Python
- Ability to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL jobs on AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of querying data from S3, ADLSv2, or modern lakehouse environments
- Experience managing API-level and database connectivity
- Familiarity with GitLab or similar source control tools
- Experience using Terraform or cloud-native tools for data platform builds
- Understanding of service management environments and live service support
- Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative teams and agile environments
Desirable skills
- Experience automating operations with scripting languages
- Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Lake Formation, or Azure Fabric

About the Role
As a Data Engineer in Credera’s Delivery Centre, you’ll work within a close-knit engineering team to support long-term client projects. Guided by senior consulting engineers, you’ll tackle real-world data challenges, from building secure pipelines to deploying modern cloud solutions. Your work will shape client success by improving data quality, automating workflows, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Transparency, humility, and communication are key—qualities Credera values as much as technical ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines that improve system performance
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Develop batch and micro-batch processes on AWS or Azure ETL platforms
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for repeatable deployments
- Manage APIs and data integration points to ensure consistent connectivity
- Support live systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain seamless operation
