Role Overview:
As a Data Scientist Intern, you will:
- Collaborate with business lines and stakeholders to drive business value using data science solutions.
- Utilize distributed computing tools for analysis, data mining, and modeling.
- Work with data engineering, software development, and analytics teams to build analytical datasets and models.
- Apply model and algorithm testing strategies, measure effectiveness, and make ongoing changes.
- Prepare detailed documentation and present results to stakeholders.
- Engage in challenging, research-based initiatives using advanced machine learning methods.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
- Passion for learning and a vision of working for an international organization.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities (conferences, clubs, hackathons).
- Knowledge/experience in data cleaning, transformation, visualization, big data/cloud ecosystems, experimental design, statistical analysis, machine learning, Python programming, SQL, and related tools.
