This role offers a salary between £27,485 and £30,162 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
This Dietetic Assistant Therapy Practitioner role is about more than day-to-day tasks, it’s about impact. You’ll gather essential information during assessments, support adults with learning disabilities, and help shape care plans that improve health and wellbeing. Every visit, every conversation, every bit of advice you share will help people live healthier lives. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team that values initiative, reliability, and compassion. The Trust will guide you to build your confidence in nutrition and therapeutic approaches, while encouraging your growth at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather information to support dietetic assessments and reviews that inform care
- Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs to reach their goals
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver joined-up care
- Deliver advice or training to carers so they can provide consistent support
- Keep accurate clinical records that ensure safe and effective care
- Use initiative in consultation with Dietitians to meet specific needs of service users
- Manage time and attendance responsibly to provide reliable support
