Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of SIT and UAT testing of clinical systems in an NHS environment
  • Proven skills in manual testing including test plans, scripts and execution
  • Confident communicator with strong collaboration skills
  • Solid problem solving ability with technical debugging skills
  • Competence with PowerShell and advanced Excel use
  • Familiarity with automated testing principles and tools
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with a detail oriented mindset

Salary Details

The role offers £38,682 to £46,580 annually, with NHS pension contributions and benefits.

About the Role

As a Digital and Data Test Analyst, you’ll support a range of projects that impact both clinical staff and patients. This includes work on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme, a pioneering mobile system being developed in partnership with Nervecentre Software Ltd. You’ll design and execute test scripts, both manual and automated, to ensure new systems meet clinical and technical requirements. By identifying issues early, you’ll safeguard quality and help teams deliver systems that genuinely improve care delivery.

This role isn’t just about running tests. It’s about making sure doctors, nurses and patients can trust the systems they use every day. By creating and maintaining automated regression scripts, using Leapwork Studio, you’ll directly support smoother workflows and fewer errors in frontline care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and create test scenarios that ensure system reliability
  • Produce and execute test scripts, capturing defects and driving solutions
  • Develop and maintain automated regression flows for efficiency
  • Support multiple projects to deliver safe, high quality healthcare systems
  • Provide clear communication to developers, managers and stakeholders
  • Mentor colleagues on testing processes and best practice
  • Track risks and escalate issues to safeguard quality and project timelines
