Requirements

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Pharmacy Practice
  • ACPT qualification
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Solid experience in a busy pharmacy environment
  • Clear communicator, calm under pressure, great with teams
  • Comfortable counselling patients including those with communication barriers
  • Strong with data, detail, and following established procedures

About the Role

Here’s a hands-on chance to join a pharmacy team where precision meets compassion. As a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be based primarily at DCSL Corbett Pharmacy, with regular shifts at Russell’s Hall Hospital. Your work helps keep dispensary services running smoothly and safely across both locations. The role includes preparing medications, supporting dispensary operations, and giving patients the confidence to manage their treatments. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily dispensary operations to support safe medication delivery
  • Accurately dispense and label medication for inpatients, outpatients, and wards
  • Provide face-to-face guidance to patients on medication usage and side effects
  • Follow written procedures to maintain compliance and patient safety
  • Communicate clearly and work closely with colleagues and managers
  • Support training and service improvement initiatives
