Job Description
Olive Recruit’s client, a family-owned care home in Enfield, Greater London, is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in upholding exceptional standards of cleanliness and comfort for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key responsibilities include
- Maintaining spotless cleanliness in residents’ rooms and communal areas
- Performing laundry duties
- Collaborating with the housekeeping team to meet Health and Safety Regulations
- Contributing to a positive living environment for residents
The position offers permanent employment with day shifts from 7am to 3pm and 10am to 6pm.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- COSHH training and Current Accredited Infection Control Certificate (or willingness to be trained)
- Additional infection control experience post Covid-19
- Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety in the workplace (or willingness to be trained)
- GCSE qualifications or NVQ Level 1
- Cleaning experience in a similar environment
- Commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Understanding of the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people
Compensation
The role offers a competitive salary of £13.15 per hour.
