About the Role

As an Education Mental Health Practitioner or Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner, you’ll be part of a multi-skilled team supporting children, parents, and schools. Your focus will be on early intervention—helping children navigate anxiety, low mood, and other mild to moderate mental health concerns.

You’ll work directly with young people and families in one-to-one sessions, small groups, and whole-school activities. One day, you might deliver an assembly on emotional literacy. The next, you’ll help a student and their caregiver find ways to manage overwhelming feelings.

  • Facilitate group work and deliver workshops on emotional wellbeing
  • Signpost and collaborate with wider services when specialist input is needed
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to outcome reporting
