  • GCSE Grade A to C in English and Maths (Essential)
  • Valid UK driving experience of over 12 months (Essential)
  • Experience working in a team and with people from various backgrounds (Essential)
  • Approachable, adaptable, and caring personality
  • Empathy and understanding of diverse individual needs
  • Desirable: FREC/FPOS qualifications, NHS or Emergency Ambulance Service Training

About the Role
As an Emergency Care Support Worker with XL Team LTD, you’ll provide emergency support at various events, helping those who may fall ill or sustain injuries. You’ll be a key part of the ambulance response team, collaborating with technicians and paramedics to deliver timely and compassionate care, including patient transport when needed. In this role, your attentiveness and calm will make a real difference to those you help.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to patients in distress at events, offering a calm and effective response.
  • Collaborate with senior ambulance staff, providing essential support in urgent situations.
  • Physically maneuver and assist patients with care, always ensuring safety.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
  • Regularly inspect and clean vehicles and equipment to meet infection control standards.
  • Identify and report any equipment or vehicle issues to management.
  • Attend required training sessions and maintain compliance with mandatory training.
