Job Description:
Exceed Enterprises seeks an Employment Consultant to play a crucial role in connecting adults with diverse abilities to meaningful employment opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to assess their skills, interests, and goals, collaborating with employers to match suitable candidates to job openings. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with job preparation activities, providing career exploration services, ensuring accurate documentation, managing a caseload of individuals, and maintaining communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for workforce development, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to helping individuals achieve their career aspirations.
Requirements:
- Approach businesses and explore employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities.
- Assist individuals with job preparation activities such as resumes, cover letters, and mock interviews.
- Provide Discovery/Career Exploration services and develop vocational profiles.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations and policies.
- Manage a caseload and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Analyze job tasks and match individuals to suitable job assignments.
- Possess an associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel.
- Ability to assist with lifting and transferring individuals.
- Must pass background checks and drug testing.
