Requirements
- Qualified in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven experience in large project environments
- Familiar with estimating software packages and confident producing detailed estimates
- Experience working in infrastructure sectors such as rail, highways, airports, or utilities
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, or A. Cost E. (or actively working towards it)
- Strong communicator with an eye for accuracy and process improvement
- Enthusiastic about driving better outcomes and supporting sustainable growth

About the Role
This is a chance to become part of an ambitious growth journey at Turner & Townsend. As an Estimator, you’ll help shape the financial backbone of major infrastructure programmes across the UK and beyond.
Your day-to-day will involve preparing accurate cost estimates, managing data, and advising clients on value-driven decisions. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and commercial teams to ensure every project is delivered on time and within budget. Whether embedded within a client’s organisation or part of the Turner & Townsend Estimating Hub, your insight will guide key investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate estimates to inform major project investments and improve cost confidence
- Control and manage the estimating process, ensuring timelines and data integrity are maintained
- Promote estimating best practice, mentoring others and refining team methods
- Support major programme setup by developing cost baselines and risk assessments
- Provide estimating assurance to clients to strengthen project governance and decision-making
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, building trusted relationships that drive success
