Job Description
Nimax Theatres is seeking a dedicated Front of House Assistant to ensure smooth operations of their theatres and bars, providing an enjoyable experience for all customers. The role primarily involves evening and weekend shift work, with each shift approximately 3.75 hours long. Key responsibilities include serving customers, conducting safety and security checks, assisting audience members, maintaining cleanliness, and proactively selling refreshments and merchandise.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Confident delivery of excellent face-to-face service to a variety of customers
- Engaging, well-presented, and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Desirable:
- Experience in hospitality work
- Familiarity with health & safety procedures
- Previous experience using till systems
- Experience in cleaning and sanitizing
- Experience assisting customers with various accessibility requirements
- Previous manual handling training and experience
Compensation
- Salary: £11.61 per hour
