About the Role
As a Program Support Specialist, you will serve as the first line of support for customers and partners. You will answer calls, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions related to HVAC installations and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming and place outbound calls to customers and partners to address technical questions and process inquiries regarding HVAC installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot company products and services, while enhancing the customer experience through clear communication of complex situations and solutions.
- Utilize internal systems to resolve, escalate, and close all support requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-6 months of technical customer service experience (1 year of call center experience preferred).
- Basic or advanced knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Experience within a home improvement retail store is a plus.
- Strong ability to interact with customers remotely, effectively negotiating phone call duration and guiding them through solutions without requiring in-person service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and break down complex problems into understandable terms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States or Canada for the duration of employment.
- Open availability to work Monday-Friday (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST) and Saturday-Sunday (9:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST).
- Possession of a Windows 10/11 computer with at least 8 GB of RAM, directly connected to the modem with an Ethernet cable while working.
- Minimum internet speed of 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- Webcam required.
