Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our Northeast Community Therapy Team. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered therapy services within a multidisciplinary team, supporting patient care across various settings in the locality.
Main Duties
- Deliver holistic, person-centered care in the community.
- Support qualified therapists (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists) in high-standard therapy interventions.
- Conduct screening assessments and treatment programs as per agreed protocols.
- Manage a delegated caseload under therapist supervision.
- Ensure safe practice within a competency framework.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
- Literacy and numeracy grade 4-9 (A-C)
- 3 A-Levels or equivalent level 3 qualifications in Health and Science
- Assistant Practitioner Level 5 course modules or willingness to commence in the first year
- Understanding of rehabilitation principles
Knowledge & Skills:
- Therapy intervention knowledge through training or healthcare experience
- Ability to work independently on agreed protocols
- Organisational skills to manage caseloads
- Accurate and legible patient and therapy notes entries
Experience:
- Clinical setting experience
- Delivery of personal and clinical care
