The Role: Ambulance Paramedic

As an Ambulance Paramedic with SECAmb, you’ll be at the heart of emergency healthcare delivery. You’ll need to be empathetic, committed, and ready to provide compassionate care in high-pressure situations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in emergency situations
  • Assess patients quickly and accurately, making critical decisions about their care
  • Administer appropriate treatments and medications
  • Work collaboratively with other emergency services and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain detailed patient records and handover information
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Paramedic
  • BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc or BSc in Paramedic Science or Practice
  • Excellent knowledge of pre-hospital care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions
  • Full EU driving licence with no more than three points
  • C1 licence (preferred, but support available if not held)
