Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Holds BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences & NVQ3 or equivalent Level 3 qualification
  • Strong skills in dispensing, patient communication, and medicine labelling
  • Organised with excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good team player with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working independently in a busy clinical environment
  • Keen to support and mentor others

Salary Details

This role offers a Band 4 to Band 5 NHS salary range of £33,094 to £45,356 per year, based on progression milestones

About the Role

You’ll begin at Band 4 and work through a structured training programme to become a Senior Pharmacy Technician within 6 to 12 months. From inpatient dispensary services to medicines management, you’ll rotate through core areas of the department, developing the confidence and know-how to step up.

You’ll be part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, communication, and empathy. The aim is simple: provide safe, patient-first care that meets the changing needs of the hospital. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient-focused pharmacy services across hospital settings
