Requirements
- A RICS-accredited degree or master’s conversion in Building Surveying (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum)
- Genuine passion for the built environment and construction industry

About the Role
This 24-month Graduate Development Programme is designed to shape you into a well-rounded consultant and future leader. You’ll dive into the world of building surveying, working within real estate teams on live projects that test your technical and commercial skills.
From day one, you’ll carry out building inspections, prepare condition reports, and assist in cost estimation. You’ll work directly with clients, manage documentation, and support projects across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
Every rotation exposes you to new challenges—dilapidations, due diligence, development monitoring, and project management—ensuring you gain a holistic understanding of how the built environment operates. You’ll also receive guidance from a dedicated Graduate Development Manager, ensuring you stay on track toward RICS chartership through the APC Building Surveying pathway.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct building inspections and surveys to assess condition and compliance, ensuring safe, sustainable use of assets
- Prepare detailed reports to advise clients on defects, maintenance, and repair strategies
- Support project teams by coordinating documentation and ensuring projects meet technical and commercial goals
- Assist in preparing cost estimates to ensure financial accuracy and transparency in delivery
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and build trust-based relationships
- Engage in sustainability-focused projects that promote greener building solutions and practices
- Participate in professional development activities and mentor peers within the graduate community
