Salary Details
Turner & Townsend offers a competitive graduate package that rewards commitment, growth, and performance, along with access to training, mentorship, and progression pathways.
About the Role
This two-year Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is designed to launch your Building Surveying career and help you achieve your Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). You’ll work in the Real Estate department, gaining experience across dilapidations, technical due diligence, development monitoring, and project management.
From your first day, you’ll join a supportive network that values curiosity and growth. You’ll learn through a mix of technical and behavioural training, with guidance from a dedicated Graduate Development Manager. Along the way, you’ll build a strong foundation in consulting, deepen your understanding of the property lifecycle, and work on projects that have real community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct building inspections and surveys to assess condition and identify issues that inform key project decisions.
- Prepare detailed building reports that guide clients in maintaining or improving property performance.
- Assist with cost estimates to support feasibility studies and project planning.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and effective communication.
- Support project teams in the delivery of high-quality building surveying services across diverse sectors.
- Engage in sustainability initiatives that drive positive change in the built environment.
Each responsibility contributes to creating safer, smarter, and more efficient spaces where people live and work.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Some positions, particularly those in the Defence sector, require Baseline Personnel Security Standard and UKSV SC clearance. The process will begin after you’ve accepted an offer and confirmed your willingness to undergo these checks.
Certificate of Sponsorship
Applications from job seekers who require current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. For further information visit the UK Visas and Immigration website. From 6 April 2017, skilled worker applicants applying for entry clearance into the UK must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided in for 12 months or more in the past 10 years.
