The US Green Building Council (USGBC) and Greenbuild invite community and sustainability leaders to apply for the Greenbuild 2024 Scholarship Program. This initiative seeks to empower individuals who are dedicated to transforming business practices within the building industry.
The Greenbuild Experience
The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is set to convene November 12–15, 2024, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event promises a comprehensive exploration of sustainability through:
- Educational sessions that span four days
- Interactive workshops and summits
- Inspirational keynotes each day
- Pre-event digital summits
- Expo hall access, featuring Greenbuild and Mass Timber+
- Education labs
- Networking events in the evenings
Application Essentials
The USGBC and Greenbuild emphasize that scholarship applications must be submitted by Monday, May 27.
Eligibility Requirements
The USGBC and Greenbuild are looking for applicants who:
- Are at least 18 years old by May 31.
- Have never attended Greenbuild before.
- Can commit to attending a digital pre-conference meeting in October and the main event in November.
- Are not employees, contractors, or volunteer leaders with USGBC, GBCI, or Greenbuild.
- Can demonstrate a need for the scholarship due to financial or professional constraints.
- Are actively engaged in work related to sustainability, health, resilience, equity, or ESG.
- Will partner with the USGBC in 2025 to promote health and sustainability in their communities.
- Will provide a testimonial about their Greenbuild experience.
Application Process
To apply, complete the scholarship application by 11:59 pm ET on May 27. The USGBC and Greenbuild will notify selected recipients by August 12.
