Requirements
- Level 4 vocational qualification in a health care subject
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent Level 2 qualifications
- Confident working under supervision in therapy-led teams
- Positive attitude toward learning, patient care, and flexible working hours
- Desirable: Teaching or assessment qualification, local service knowledge
Salary Details
The starting salary is £26,928, rising to £29,551 depending on experience. The position offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling across weekday and weekend rotas.
About the Role
Here’s a chance to do impactful work across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and dietetics. As part of the Supportive Care Service, you’ll help patients regain movement, strength, and independence, whether at hospital or in their homes. From leading exercise groups to providing nutrition screening, every day brings fresh challenges and moments of real progress.
You’ll work closely with Therapists and Dietitians, delivering practical interventions while tracking progress and updating care plans. You’ll help promote self-care, safety, and dignity for patients navigating complex conditions. If you’re eager to learn and thrive in a collaborative setting, this role could be the step that changes everything.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and progress individual or group exercise sessions alongside Physiotherapists
- Monitor rehab plans and encourage self-managed physiotherapy routines
- Conduct nutritional screening and deliver first-line advice under a Dietitian’s guidance
- Help run group dietetic sessions and track nutritional care plans
- Implement Occupational Therapy activities that promote independence and wellbeing
- Flex working hours to meet the evolving needs of patients and teams
