Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all catering services, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service
• Lead and manage the kitchen team, including recruitment, training, rotas, and performance management
• Develop and implement nutritious and appealing menus tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Promote resident choice and dignity through well-balanced, enjoyable meals

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience as a Head Chef
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary requirements
• Ability to create menus that meet both nutritional and personal preferences of residents

Desirable

• Previous experience in a care home or healthcare catering environment
• Ability to travel between multiple locations if required
