An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join the Beverley Nursing and Conditions Team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic community nursing environment and is passionate about providing holistic, quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients with long-term conditions, complex wound care needs, and palliative care requirements
- Deliver care in patients’ own homes, including residential care settings
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other local and healthcare providers
- Adapt to the dynamic changes that occur in community nursing on a day-to-day basis
- Utilize excellent communication skills and IT literacy in daily tasks
- Travel between locations to carry out work, attend training, and meetings
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in Health and Social Care
- Care Certificate or willingness to complete within the induction period
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Ability to prioritize own workload
- Good understanding of basic IT skills
- Daily access to transport (essential)
