Requirements
- GCSEs or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy
- Care Certificate and recent experience in a UK healthcare setting
- Friendly communicator who can follow instructions with ease
- Good at working solo or pitching in with a team
- Able to stay calm and respectful under pressure

- Willing to work full shift patterns including weekends and holidays

About the Role
This Health Care Assistant position is a chance to step into a clinical role that truly counts. Based at Wexham Park Hospital, you’ll be part of a hands-on team supporting patients through the little things that make a big difference—personal care, hygiene, meals, mobility, and comfort.
You’ll work directly with registered nurses, backing them up while keeping an eye on patient wellbeing. From collecting vital signs to encouraging someone to eat or move, your input will shape someone’s day and recovery. This is real frontline work, and they’re looking for someone who takes pride in being kind, dependable, and proactive.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and hygiene to maintain patient dignity
- Help patients eat, drink, and stay hydrated
- Monitor and record vital signs like pulse and temperature
- Support mobility and use of equipment after assessment
- Care for patients under enhanced observation when needed
- Work alongside nurses to deliver consistent, safe care
- Communicate with patients and families in a respectful way
- Notice and report any changes in patient condition promptly
