Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in Health and Social Care
  • Care Certificate or willingness to complete during induction
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic IT skills
  • Experience of prioritising own workload and working independently
  • Previous experience in a health care environment
  • UK driving licence with business use insurance and access to a suitable vehicle for community work

Salary Details

This Band 3 post offers a salary of £24,937 – £26,598 per year, paid under the NHS Agenda for Change pay scheme, with progression opportunities available.

About the Role

As a Health Care Assistant, you’ll be part of the Haltemprice Community Nursing Team, delivering high quality care across Hull and East Riding. The role is varied and hands on, from supporting patients in their homes to working alongside health and social care partners. Some days you’ll be the reassuring face during tough moments, other days you’ll be helping to drive forward new approaches in care delivery. Flexibility is key, as you’ll be expected to travel between sites, but that’s also what makes the job so rewarding. You’ll see the real impact of your work on people’s lives every day.
