Job Summary

Total West Limited is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to provide person-centred care to residents in line with individual care plans. This role is ideal for candidates who are dedicated to ensuring dignity, respect, and well-being for individuals in need of support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, ensuring residents maintain dignity and respect.
• Assist with meals and understand dietary requirements.
• Support residents with toileting and dental hygiene.
• Maintain accurate daily paperwork and care records.
• Follow instructions from seniors/nurses and report concerns as necessary.
• Complete mandatory training to ensure the highest level of care.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

✔ Caring and compassionate attitude.
✔ Willingness to complete mandatory training.
✔ Ability to follow care plans and instructions from senior staff.
✔ DBS check required before starting.

Desirable Requirements

✔ Previous experience in a care role (preferred but not required – training provided).
✔ GCSE or equivalent education (preferred).
✔ Experience in a care home or home care setting (preferred).
✔ English proficiency (preferred).
✔ Driving Licence (preferred).
