Main Duties

As a Health Care Support Worker, your tasks may include:

  • Assisting patients with washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Supporting patients during meals, including serving and feeding.
  • Helping patients move around safely.
  • Making and cleaning beds.
  • Providing companionship by talking to patients and their families.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and reporting observations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential Skills:
    • Caring, kind, and cheerful demeanor.
    • Comfortable assisting patients with personal needs.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
    • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Previous experience in a care environment.
    • Willingness to undertake Level 2/3 Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care.

Training & Development

  • Apprenticeships:
    • Level 2 (12–18 months) or Level 3 (18–24 months) in Health & Social Care.
