Requirements
- Previous experience working with people in a care setting
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Caring, kind, and cheerful nature with a genuine interest in supporting others
- Willingness to complete Maths and English functional skills if not already achieved
- Positive attitude toward completing a Level 2/3 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care
Salary Details
- Weekdays: £10.37 per hour
- Nights/Saturdays: £14.62 per hour (includes unsocial hours supplement)
- Sundays/Bank Holidays: £18.98 per hour (includes unsocial hours supplement)
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support with personal care, helping patients feel comfortable and respected
- Serve meals and support patients with eating, promoting dignity and wellbeing
- Assist with mobility and safe movement, ensuring independence is encouraged
- Monitor patient condition and promptly share changes with the clinical team
- Build trust with patients and families through compassionate conversations
- Work with the team to maintain safe, welcoming environments across wards
