About the Role
Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a motivated and dynamic Health Care Support Worker to join their Endoscopy Unit at Glangwili General Hospital. The role involves supporting the team in providing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, primarily in Gastroenterology, Respiratory, and Urology services. Key responsibilities include assisting in medical procedures, performing administrative duties to ensure smooth operations, and maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for Gastroenterology, Respiratory, and Urology services
- Support the Endoscopy Unit’s day-to-day operations
- Ensure decontamination protocols are followed
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff
