About the Role
The Health Care Assistant will support the doctor and nurse teams by undertaking patient care tasks, clinical support tasks, infection control tasks, restocking, and stock rotation. The role involves assisting with specialist clinics, maintaining stocks and supplies, and ensuring effective communication with the Primary Health Care Team and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of treatment room duties using agreed protocols
- Assist with specialist clinics as appropriate
- Maintain stocks and supplies within the Practice
- Identify areas of possible improvement in service delivery
- Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation
- Participate in the development of protocols and guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality
- Participate in the education and training of students
