About the Role:
Join our team at Ludlow Ward and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care at one of the UK’s leading orthopaedic hospitals. We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about making a difference and providing compassionate support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities under supervision.
- Support patient mobility and independence through dressing and mobility assistance.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort using manual handling techniques and equipment.
- Maintain patient skin integrity and understand dietary needs.
- Uphold cultural sensitivity and diversity in patient care.
- Handle biological waste and assist with medical procedures under supervision.
- Perform basic life support and emergency response duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining professional competence through training and development opportunities.
