About the Role:
The Adult Community Nursing Service in Oldham is seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistant to join their team. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting registered nurses to deliver essential district nursing services. Your work will directly impact patients’ lives, providing care in their homes and other community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to patients, their families, and carers in home and community settings
  • Carry out delegated clinical and therapeutic tasks
  • Promote physical, mental, and emotional health for individuals and client groups
  • Work effectively as part of the Adult Community Nursing Team
  • Support the delivery of high-quality district nursing services

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
  • Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
  • Care Certificate
  • Experience working as a Care Support Worker or equivalent in a health or social care setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to travel to different locations across the Trust area

Salary Details:
The role offers a competitive salary range of £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
