About the Role
This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to build real connections while making a genuine difference. As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll visit clients in their homes across Colchester, supporting them with daily living activities like personal care, medication, meal prep, and companionship. You’ll help them stay safe, seen, and valued—all while developing personal care skills and a strong sense of purpose.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care that respects dignity and privacy
- Support medication needs safely, following care plans
- Prep meals with an eye on nutrition, culture, and preference
- Use equipment safely and with confidence
- Keep accurate care records using carers’ notes
- Look out for signs of abuse or neglect and report them
- Attend ongoing training and staff meetings

A current enhanced DBS check is preferred. If you don’t have one, they’ll help cover the cost and support your application.
Certificate of Sponsorship
