Requirements
- Be willing to train and get a level 3 NVQ qualification.
- Caring and compassionate attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Be registered with Social Care Wales (or be willing to register within six months).
About the Role
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you’ll be making a real difference in the lives of adults with autism, learning disabilities, and other challenges. You’ll be there to support them with everyday activities, helping them become more independent and confident. You’ll work closely with a team of other professionals to provide the best possible care. Key Responsibilities
- Helping people with their daily routines, like getting dressed and eating.
- Giving medication and keeping an eye on people’s health.
- Making meals and helping people with eating.
- Providing emotional support and helping people with any behavioral challenges.
- Working as part of a team to create a safe and positive environment.
