Salary Details

Pay falls within Agenda for Change Band 7, offering £48,527 to £55,532 a year (pro rata if part time).

About the Role

This is more than a clinical informatics job—it’s a rare opportunity to combine healthcare experience with digital implementation that actually sticks. You’ll join a sharp, forward-focused team tasked with rolling out electronic clinical systems like e-Obs, e-Flow, and ePMA across a broad NHS footprint.

The work is hands-on and high-impact. Think guiding front-line teams through change, boosting digital fluency across services, and helping shape systems that reduce risk and enhance care. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be walking the wards, running live rollouts, and creating real momentum behind the NHS’s shift to digital.

This post suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, values patient safety, and enjoys empowering others through innovation. Looking for a role with career growth and national-level influence? This is your shot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive implementation of key digital systems across health board sites
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clinical staff before, during, and after rollouts
  • Lead planning for staff engagement and training, ensuring buy-in from all levels
  • Help modernise clinical records and improve decision-making processes
  • Liaise with Digital Health Care Wales and internal stakeholders to align strategy
  • Be available during ‘go live’ periods to offer on-site support and coaching
  • Travel across sites and work flexibly to meet rollout demands
  • Promote inclusive and confident digital use across the workforce
