About the Role
As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals within their homes. The role focuses on maintaining clients’ dignity and independence while providing assistance with daily living activities. This is a highly rewarding position for those who are compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with respect and empathy.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Driving clients to appointments, errands, or social outings.
- Administering medications according to prescribed guidelines.
- Supporting childcare needs and implementing behavior management strategies as required.
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about caregiving and committed to helping others live fulfilling lives. While previous experience in caregiving or nursing is preferred, it is not mandatory. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are fully equipped for the role.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A caring and trustworthy nature, with a genuine desire to support others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections with clients.
- Patience, understanding, and the capacity to work effectively in a variety of situations.
- Experience in home care, meal preparation, medication administration, and senior care (preferred but not required).
Job Details and Schedule
This role offers flexibility, with shifts including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour options. Both day and night shifts are available, as well as weekday and weekend roles.

Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in home care is preferred.
- A valid driving license is advantageous.
- GCSE or equivalent education is desirable.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Location and Travel
This role requires travel within Havering and nearby areas, with a willingness to travel up to 75%.
