Job Overview
We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our friendly team at Marlborough House Adolescent Mental Health Unit. This role involves ensuring a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for young people, their families, and staff members. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and preparing meals, working closely with our Site Services Team Leader and a team of five housekeepers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the unit, following the daily cleaning schedule and addressing additional cleaning needs.
- Prepare fresh sandwiches for lunch and use a regen heater to warm evening meals for patients.
- Ensure all food is stored safely and there are adequate supplies for meal preparation.
- Use and store cleaning materials securely in compliance with COSHH regulations.
- Understand patient boundaries and maintain these boundaries consistently.

- Knowledge and Skills
- Essential: Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals.
- Experience
- Essential: Prior experience as a housekeeper and familiarity with food preparation and safety.
