Job Description

KIMS Hospital in Maidstone is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join their Guest Services team on a temporary basis. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, communal areas, and offices. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellent patient service.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch housekeeping services to patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
  • Support the housekeeping team in delivering excellent patient service across all hospital areas.
  • Adhere to infection control guidelines within clinical areas.
  • Use cleaning materials in compliance with COSHH requirements.

Person Specification:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and their application in a clinical environment.
  • Flexible and responsive to departmental needs.
  • Strong team player.
