Salary Details
Band 4: £27,485 to £30,162 per year, plus standard NHS benefits.
About the Role
This role helps keep cancer imaging services running smoothly. You’ll guide patients through booking, testing, and results processes with clarity and care. The work involves spotting delays early, coordinating with clinical teams, and making sure each patient’s journey stays on course. Your updates, tracking, and communication support safe decisions at a time when people rely on accuracy and reassurance.
Key Responsibilities
• Input imaging requests accurately so patients enter the pathway without delay
• Check requests for completeness to support safer clinical decisions
• Book and track imaging appointments so patients stay informed
• Liaise with wards and clinical teams to keep information flowing
• Monitor results and ensure follow-up actions are completed
• Track pathway progress so clinicians stay aligned on next steps
• Maintain data quality to support reporting and service improvements
• Support MDT outcomes and documentation
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
A DBS check is required. The Trust covers the cost upfront and deducts it over three months.

Eligible for Skilled Worker Sponsorship, subject to meeting visa requirements and Trust approval.
