Job Description

Allied Caregivers is seeking compassionate and reliable In-Home Non-Medical Caregivers in Manchester, NH. This part-time, hourly position offers an opportunity to positively impact the lives of clients by providing personalized and supportive care in their homes. With a pay rate of $20 per hour and weekly pay, this role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and providing companionship.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Support clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks like laundry and dishwashing.
• Provide companionship and engage in recreational activities.
• Adapt care plans based on clients’ changing needs while promoting their independence.
• Report safety hazards and significant observations.
• Communicate proactively with admin personnel regarding client concerns.
• Maintain client confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Collaborate with others to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay updated on best practices and attend required training sessions.

Qualifications:

• No previous education or experience required; company will sponsor necessary training.
• Must have or be willing to obtain the New Hampshire 8-hour Basic Caregiver Training and Alzheimer’s & Dementia certificate.
• Able to provide mobility assistance.
• Comfortable with assisting clients in personal hygiene and bedtime needs.
• Must be able to follow individualized care plans.
• Should be kind, compassionate, patient, and empathetic.
• Must work with integrity, communicate effectively, and help create win-win solutions.
