About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Information Analyst to join the Information Services team at Newcastle Hospitals. This role will focus on being the lead analyst for maternity data, working closely with the Family Health Clinical Board. The successful candidate will be at the heart of gaining valuable insights into the care provided for women across the region who use the Trust’s maternity services.

In this role, you’ll be diving deep into data captured along maternity pathways, helping the Trust understand the impact of different interventions and subsequent outcomes for both mothers and babies. Your work will be crucial in allowing the service to learn, adapt, and meet the changing needs of the population they serve. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical records.

While you’ll be based at Regent Point with other analysts and IT staff, you’ll work closely with midwives, doctors, and managers at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and in the community. This position offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between data analysis and clinical practice, making a real difference in the lives of mothers and babies in the region.
