Requirements

  • GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician or about to qualify
  • Minimum NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
  • Accredited Checking Technician (ACPT) or willingness to train
  • Hospital or community dispensing experience
  • Clear communicator with great attention to detail
  • Familiar with Word and Excel
  • A strong grasp of policies, safe dispensing, and patient-centred care

This role offers a competitive salary between 26,530 and 36,483 per year, depending on experience and banding level.

Working closely with the Dispensary Manager, the role supports the safe, smooth delivery of inpatient dispensing. It’s hands-on, varied, and never boring. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Dispensary Manager in day-to-day operations to keep everything running safely
  • Supervise the dispensing process and help maintain high-quality patient care
  • Train, mentor, and support other team members when needed
  • Work in line with national guidelines and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate records, support audits, and promote safe medication practices
  • Contribute ideas that improve service delivery and team workflows
